“It’s good to know that this land will remain wild”. — Larry Holcomb
Please join us to celebrate the protection of this huge (476 acres!) and important wetland that connects other conserved lands and provides vital habitat for sandhill cranes — and to thank the Holcomb family for their generous contributions to conservation in Calhoun County! Big Marsh Farm Conservation Easement is on private property and will not usually be open to the public, so this is a unique opportunity to visit this special, wild place. There will be brief remarks and a hike into part of the property (it’s too big to see it all!). Click here more information about this incredible marshland.
