The Three Rivers Area Fall Color Tour was started by the Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce in the 1950s, and has been celebrating the beauty and color of Southwest Michigan ever since. Click here to go to the Fall Color Tour’s Facebook page for more details and a tour map.

Hosted by local businesses, St. Joseph County Parks, City of Three Rivers, and the Three Rivers Area Chamber of Commerce, the Fall Color Tour is a scenic, fun-filled drive with a variety of destinations and activities along the way.


Coon Hollow Preserve
Coon Hollow Road and Ferguson Road (follow above link for detailed directions).
Wooded slopes and a beautiful wetland beckon visitors to the marsh boardwalk for unique perspectives on fall color.

Spirit Springs Sanctuary
Dutch Settlement Rd., just west of Day Rd. (follow above link for detailed directions).
Big and beautiful in every season, this beloved preserve offers trails that wind around an inland lake, into the forest, and along a ridge overlooking untouched wetlands.

At 3:30 pm, the Little Adventurers’ Club will lead a tike hike for little kids to Spirit Spring’s pond to look for turtles, followed by treats! Click for details.
