Free admission and open to all little kids and their families!

Use the buddy system . . . stay on the trail . . . pay attention to where you are . . . bring mittens if it’s cold out . . . stay calm and yell loudly if you get left behind. Spending time outdoors is so much more fun if you know what to do! Please join Julie Collard of the Little Adventurers’ Club and TJ Wilkinson (steadfast SWMLC supporter, volunteer, and father to two young daughters) — plus a special guest, a Kalamazoo Township police officer! — for an age-appropriate hike and chat about child safety.

WHEN: Sunday, November 12, 3:30 pm.

WHERE: Bow in the Clouds Preserve, City of Kalamazoo

DIRECTIONS: The preserve is on Nazareth Road (about one mile west of Sprinkle Road), behind Nazareth Campus (home of the Sisters of St. Joseph, 3427 Gull Rd.). From Gull Road, turn north onto Nazareth Road. The preserve entrance is about half a mile ahead on the left side of the road. Look for our old gray barn up off the road. It’s a steep drive along a sharp curve, so be careful coming and leaving. Pull in through the gate and park in the nice new parking lot.

RSVP: Even though this is a free event, RSVPs are always nice and it’s helpful for us to know that you’re coming. Please call our office (269-324-1600) or email Miko at cmdargitz@swmlc.org.
