Kesling Nature Preserve, near Michigan’s southern border, features some of the most diverse understory wildflower life in the region. In parts of the forest however, invasive shrubs have gained a foothold and are discouraging these wildflower populations. Come grab some loppers, tromp through the snowy woods like a Forest Fiend with other volunteers, and lop back these no good shrubs!

WHEN: Saturday, February 18, 1 pm – 4 pm

WHERE: Kesling Nature Preserve, Three Oaks Twp., Berrien Co.

BRING: Warm clothes and work gloves – SWMLC will provide tools, snacks, beverages, and a good time!
