Join us on a free, guided paddle trip along the Kalamazoo River, followed by merriment at Arcadia Ales in support of SWMLC!
Every pint makes a difference!
We are super-excited about this event! The paddle has been coordinated to coincide with Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy’s Drink One Down event at Arcadia Ales, where Arcadia will tally the tap sales for the entire day and make a 50% matching donation to SWMLC!
This trip offers a unique opportunity to participate in Kanoe the Kazoo on a week night. The relatively short paddle trip will end at Verburg Park on Paterson St. (a public city park with free parking), but paddlers may stop at Arcadia Ales on the way to have a bite and to support SWMLC by “Drinking One Down for Your Town”. We plan to have some mini-outdoor game tournaments (cornhole, giant Jenga, and shuffleboard), and maybe some nature trivia! Last year’s Kanoe the Kazoo/Drink One Down event was a blast, so we know it’s going to be fun!
