From Kalamazoo, travel west on M-43. Just before Bangor, veer left at fork onto Arlington Dr. (it will become 30th Ave./ CR 378). Continue traveling west for another 7.3 miles and the preserve will be on the right; pull in at gate.

Natural Features
This preserve has very sandy soils and a high water table creating a dynamic floral understory.  In spring there are numerous ephemeral ponds and is popular breeding area for frogs.  There is a man-made pond on the property with sunfish and a very large goldfish.  Open areas created by pipeline management are used as breeding grounds by woodcock and provide habitat for some unusual flora, particularly sedges.
