Access: open to the public
Donated by Katherine Miller, 2007
Trails: none, but visitors are welcome to walk through Woodlawn Preserve’s open fields.

Directions: The preserve is located on the border between Kalamazoo and Barry Counties. From Richland, go north on M-43 and through the residential area near Gull Lake. At the north end of the lake, go straight (east) onto W. Sheffield Rd. rather than taking the sharp turn to the north on M-43. Travel east for half a mile, then turn right (south) onto Williams Rd. (aka East Gull Lake Dr.). The preserve is half a mile ahead at the intersection with Baseline Rd.

Natural Features
This preserve is across the street from Gull Lake and is part of a larger watershed project to protect Prairieville Creek and Gull Lake. It will be used as a demonstration site for land management strategies to protect water quality. A partnership with Kellogg Biological Station has formed to share in education and outreach opportunities.
