Upcoming Events & Workdays
Unless otherwise indicated, all SWMLC events are free and open to the public!
Please check this page frequently as we add more events to the calendar.
Inclement Weather Policy
The majority of our events are held outdoors and they are rarely cancelled due to weather — unless there’s a chance of thunder and lightning (or rough, high water for paddle events). Please be sure to check the website or Facebook the morning of an event if stormy weather is predicted. We will do our best to announce the cancellation.
And remember, our public preserves are open every day from dawn to dusk, without an admission fee!
Get outside . . . play with your kids, take a hike or run the trails, look for birds, sit and think, sketch or paint, look up at the sky, take photos, walk your leashed dog (please be sure to clean up after it!), enjoy the quiet . . . it will do you good!
