Natural Features
This preserve is very rolling with sand gravel soils. Most of it is woodland of varying quality, from highly disturbed to fairly rich. There are two ponds that hold water all year and are used by a variety of herps, including Eastern box turtles. South facing slopes and cleared areas have remnant savanna species.
