Please join us for an evening of collecting “potential”! That’s what seeds represent to us at SWMLC: potential flowers for bees, potential nesting material for birds, and potential habitat! We’ll be collecting seeds at Sand Creek Preserve, making this a fun opportunity to get to know a refuge preserve that’s usually only open by appointment.

Never collected seeds before? No worries! We’ll bring all the supplies, show you which seeds to collect, and how to do it.

Directions and parking instructions will be emailed to registered participants before the event.

♦  Dogs are typically welcome at SWMLC preserves, but we ask that you leave your furry friend at home for this volunteer workday.

♦  Just so you know and can be prepared, there are no restrooms at this preserve.
