We are pleased to announce that SWMLC has just been reaccredited by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission!

Reaccreditation confirms SWMLC’s compliance with national quality standards and assures landowners and donors of SWMLC’s steadfast commitment to protect its conserved lands forever. Accreditation is really about looking toward the future and making sure that the land trust is taking the right steps today to ensure that it will be around tomorrow and for many generations to come … so that it can keep the promise of protecting its lands in perpetuity.
Many thanks to everyone who submitted comments to the Commission on our behalf! We are honored to serve this community and to be able to protect forever the wild and scenic places that characterize southwest Michigan.
