A big thank you to our host, Edward Lowe Foundation (ELF), who graciously welcomed us to their impressive Billieville facility, just a fantastic location! Your staff was good-natured and attentive and bent over backwards to help us out. It was a natural that we held our Annual Meeting at ELF because SWMLC’s recently protected LaGrange Valley Wetlands is adjacent to their huge Big Rock Valley property, where their staff have studied a large population of Eastern massasauga rattlesnakes (EMRs) for many years. ELF is not only a terrific party host; they’re also outstanding conservation partners and generous mentors in our work to protect the EMRs that call LaGrange Valley home.
